Emily McGiffin

Emily McGiffin’s first poetry collection, Between Dusk and Night, was a finalist for the CAA Poetry Prize and the Raymond Souster Award. She was awarded the 2008 RBC Bronwen Wallace Award for Emerging Writers from the Writers’ Trust of Canada, was a finalist for the CBC Literary Awards in 2012, and in 2015 won the ASLE Environmental Book Award for her second poetry collection, Subduction Zone (Pedlar Press, 2014). Her scholarly work on poetry and the environment includes the forthcoming Of Land, Bones, and Money. She lives in northwest BC and roams widely.
