...And the top prize for poetry, the Anne Szumigalski Award, went to Regina writer Ken Howe for his collection Household Hints for the End of Time (Brick Books). Howe embraces life in his writing, employing intelligence, verbal audacity and irrepressible humour as he observes the world around him.
